Custom computers with specially selected components to suit your needs

Tailoring performance to price

Whether your going to bite the bullet and build a new computer, or are looking to breathe some new life into an old machine, we can tailor your PC components to suit your needs and avoid you having to spend more money than necessary.

Sometimes an old computer can start to feel sluggish, and no, it isn't your imagination. As technology moves on the minimum requirements for software and updates gets higher, even Microsoft updates are guilty of this.

Microsoft updates install to keep your system secure and stable as new threats emerge, but sometimes they can seriously impact your performance.

Be it building a new computer or upgrading an existing one, we can guide you on selecting the appropriate components for your needs, be it office work, studying, shopping, Internet banking, surfing YouTube, playing the latest game or immersing yourself in Virtual Reality.

CPU
The Central Processing Unit is the main 'brain' of a computer, just moving the mouse arrow around the screen requires the CPU to do some math. A too slow CPU will cause even the most basic tasks to slow down.
RAM
Random Access Memory can be thought of as something like an extremely fast drive. Programs are temporally loaded into it, too little RAM can cause them to slow to a crawl, or even crash.
GPU
A Graphics Processing Unit is a special component of a PC whos main responsibility is to speed up render actions, these can be watching a video, playing a computer game, 3d modeling, and so on.
HDD / SSD
The Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Drive is normally the main bulk digital storage media device of a PC. SSDs are faster than HDDs and can speed up program/windows load time, but come at a cost. Either in the form of money or storage size.
PSU
The Power Supply Unit is the main transformer in a PC and has to be suited to the power requirements of a PC, too small can cause sudden crashes. As with everything, spending more can get nice features such as low noise and reduced cable clutter.
Motherboard
Everything connects to the motherboard and these have to be selected to be compatible with all the other components in a PC. Spending more here can give features such as CPU overclocking and extra ports for USBs, HDDs/SSDs, WiFi and so on.
Additional Components
PCs are highly modular and there are a large amount of expansion boards available for them, ranging from soundcards, additional USBs ports, WiFi, RAID controllers, network controllers and so on.
